Plan A 3 Day Team Building Camp

At Outland Expeditions, we care about the emotional and spiritual rewards of group activity and fellowship. Team building camps are great for small and large groups of any kind... business, youth groups, scout troops or just family and friends. Experience

  • The exhilaration of achievement.
  • The thrill of learning some thing new.
  • The relaxation of rigid schedules.
  • The satisfaction of a job well done.

At our Ocoee River outpost, we have lodging and plenty of activities to choose from. We can customize any retreat to you and your group. Below is one of a few ideas for a 3 day team building camp.

Day One - River Sports 101

Arrive at the outpost, grab some lunch and settle in. Around 2pm, we'll head out to the flat water and have some fun learning kayak, funyak and riverboarding basics. This is a great opportunity for first-timers to get more comfortable with the idea of whitewater rafting. After our river sports clinics, we'll head back to the outpost where your group can have dinner, play some volleyball and hang out in our game room.

Day Two - Ocoee River Rafting

Pack this day full of Ocoee River whitewater excitement. Feed your gang some breakfast, then get together in front of the raft loft to meet your Ocoee River guide. After covering all the safety rules, we'll leave the outpost around 9:30am and head up the mountain. First, we'll put-in the upper section of the river and raft the historic Olympic run. Around mid-day, we'll stop for lunch and relax before rafting the traditional middle section of the river. We'll arrive back at the outpost around 4:00pm, leaving plenty of time for showers, dinner and maybe some smore's.

Day Three - Chilhowee Mountain

After check-out, surround your group in the beauty of Ocoee while hiking Benton Falls Trail. We'll leave the outpost around 10:00am and arrive at the trail head about an hour later. At approximately 3 miles, the Benton Falls hike is an easy hike for most ages. Group members can chat along the way and learn about native plants and wildlife. After the hike, if you have time, go swimming at Lake McCamy on top of Chilhowee Mountain. When the day is done, we're guessing your bus driver will enjoy a quiet drive home.
